A movie producer who robbed a financial institution in Florida after operating out of cash for a film was jailed for 10 years

A movie producer was sentenced to 10 years in jail after he robbed a Florida financial institution department in an try and finance a film.

Nacoe Ray Brown robbed the McCoy Federal Credit score Union in Belle Isle final June, in line with an announcement from the U.S. Legal professional’s Workplace within the Center District of Florida.

Wearing a baseball cap, sun shades, a surgical-style facemask, and plastic gloves, 55-year-old Brown handed a notice to the teller that claimed he had a gun and demanded cash. He fled with virtually $4,300 in money.

A witness noticed Brown in a close-by gasoline station the place he turned into garments he’d earlier stashed there. The Belle Isle Police Division was tipped off about Brown’s actions and rapidly tracked him to the resort the place he was staying.

Brown pleaded responsible to the theft in January.

The ten-year sentence included eight years for the financial institution theft and two years for breaking parole tied to earlier financial institution heists.
